When the day just doesn’t feel quiet okay, no matter what we must remember to obediently proclaim “This is the day the LORD has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Some may say “I can’t possibly praise Him through the pain” and instead their prayers will be consumed with complaints. But, praising Him through the pain isn’t a choice to make but rather a command to obey.
The LORD is fully aware of what we are going through just as He was with Joseph, Job and most importantly Jesus. As we read their stories an important detail to never forget is that the LORD had a loving divine purpose that at the time was hard for some to comprehend but in the end resulted in an abundance of blessings.
Therefore, when the pain seems too difficult to bear always remember that He is right there. He is an ever present help in our time of need and when we seek Him first the peace that is unveiled is beyond amazing.
So instead of focusing on the pain embrace the opportunity to increase your faith in His holy name.
