Who are you trying to “get right” before the Lord?

As Christians, our hearts have been so transformed by the love of our Heavenly Father through the sacrifice of His son Jesus Christ, that we are zealous for others to experience the same.

There are people in our lives that we strongly desire to “get right” before the Lord. But, no matter how hard we try our efforts seem to be in vain. Nevertheless, we continue to pursue them with an unrelenting passion. Until one day, they finally seem accepting of His word. But, sadly overtime they begin to revert back to their old ways. In response, we may feel sad and even disappointed at their lack of love for the Lord.

However, despite how disheartening the situation may appear we must never lose faith in the power and timing of our Heavenly Father. He knows and searches the heart of every man. Therefore, if individuals we are ministering to, attempt to accept Him for reasons that aren’t sincere their walk will be volatile.

So, what can we do as passionate Christians for the Lord?

Always seek to understand the Lord’s calling on our lives and never step outside of His guidance in an effort to witness to others. Sometimes we may be called to plant the seed into people’s lives and other times we may be called to water the seed that someone else was called to plant. However, we must be patient and never forget that ultimately it is the Lord that gives the increase…not us.
